ABOUT
Hi there, I'm Michelle Rakar! I'm currently working full-time as a Senior Curriculum Developer at iD Tech Camps.
I hail from Ohio, where I received my BFA in Animation from the Columbus College of Art & Design. Creating games and writing stories is what I love to do. I'm passionate about creating characters and bringing them to life through visual storytelling. Game design is the medium where I can do this most effectively.
I've been interested in creating games ever since I can remember and have been developing my own games ever since I first learned RPG Maker 95 as a child. I thrive on learning new software and programming languages, always looking for opportunities improve my skills and expand my horizons. I also enjoy helping others and am excited to contribute to teams whenever offered the opportunity.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing, writing, and playing video games--especially RPGs and narrative-heavy games. Some of my favorite games include Final Fantasy VIII, Pokémon Soul Silver, Undertale, Life is Strange, and Persona 5.
